I recently purchased a Cannon G10. I can't import the .mov files into
Windows Movie Maker 2.1. Is there a way to import .mov files into Windows
Movie Maker?

check my website's Import Movie Source Files > Video > MOV page.

you need to convert them first to another format

=============================
Apple QuickTime MOV files are not compatible
with Movie Maker.

The only solution is to find a way to convert the files
to a compatible format before you import them...wmv
is usually the best choice.

Maybe the following links will be useful:

QuickTime 7 Pro can convert the files.

(this would be the retail version not the
free one)

SUPER © Simplified
Universal Player Encoder & Renderer

(the mirror download site is faster)

Frist I advic you convert the mov file to the format which Movie Maker
can surport
you can use E.M.Total video converter
E.M. Total Video Converter is a piece of extremely powerful and full-
featured converter software that supports almost all video and audio
formats. The software is designed to convert video for your mobile
video player as 3gp, mp4, PSP, PS3, iPod, iPhone etc and also VCD or
DVD player, XBOX360.
