How do I import/access Outlook .pst in Windows Mail

Upgraded to Vista, but I need to access my old Outlook 2000 email. How do I
access the old .pst files???

Outlook needs to installed on the Vista machine, OL opened to create the profile and storage folder, OL closed, then the old pst
copied to the storage folder
- necessary since Windows Mail(WM) looks for the Outlook profile to find the pst file

Once the above is completed...

Open WM
File/Import/Messages
- Choose Outlook
