How do I hide a disk from Win2k

I have a SFF with a mini-Linux distribution on a DiskOnModule.
When i boot Win2K it complains about a drive being in a bd way, tries to
check it and then decides that it is not FAT32 afterall. All of that slows
down booting enormously.

I'm guessing it is the DOM and wnat to find a way to hide it to enable
faster booting
