My calendar view has started displaying both the subject field and the notes
field. I only want the subject field to display. How do I do this?

What view do you have set on your calendar?

Standard month-at-a-glance calendar view (don't know if it has a name).

Do you have auto-preview turned on?

Good call! That was the problem. Who would have thought that Auto-preview
(an email thing) would have such devious consequences in Calendar?
