How do I have a field insert automatically through a link.

I am trying to create a from that has a field from a product batch table
inclluding the customer ID [account number]. I would like the customer
company name to automatically input from my customer table. How can this be
done?

In the query on which your form is based, include the Customer table
and draw a link between ID in each table. Drag CustomerName field
down to the grid below. On your form find the properties for the
Customer Name textbox and make sure its data source is the new field.
