Hello. I have a few questions at most. My Current Windows XP Install is
detecting my Processor as having two virtual cores. Which just isn't the
case. My Computer chip is a Intel 630 (i.e: Intel Costa Rica (The Predecessor
To the Intel Core 2 duo's)) But it still does have two cores. So how do I go
about resolving this?

What exactly do you see, and where?

Are you noticing an actual performance issue?

Actually xp should be correct in its listing,intel processors show as 2
starting with P4 478-pin with hyperthreading.To verify youre set-up,R.click
the task bar,task mgr.,performance,look at the CPU usage,the graphics
show activity with 1 or 2 windows,1= 1 CPU 2= 2CPU..Also,download
intel processor identity utility & run it,it'll show all specs for the CPU.
