When I enter a URL in Office Outlook 2003 it does not activate, i.e. text
turns blue and take reader to the designated page. This works fine on my
laptop but not my desktop.

Did you hit the space bar after typing the URL?

What happens in other programs, like Word? When you receive an email with a
url, is it clickable?
