I know that this is probably a very basic question but I'm new to Powerpoint.
I have a short training presentation that I want to email to my users and
when they click on the link I want it to open and run. Not a lot really! Is
it possible and what is the best way?

Either through Windows Explorer, find your presentation and chage the
extension from .ppt to .pps, or from within PowerPoint save your
presentation as a
Slide Show.

On the "File" menu, click "Save As".

In the Save as type box, select "PowerPoint Show", and then click "Save".
