How do I get slide in Power Point to advance automatically?

I am new at Power Point and cannot get my slides to advance on their own. Help.

Bev357,
In the slide transition taskpane, at the bottom, check automatically after,
put in a suitable time, click on apply to all.
If you want more impact on the timing use the try-out timing button in the
slide sorter view. This will allow you to build the slides according to your
needs, every click on the advance button will trigger a next object to
appear. Save the timings and you are set.
