Click on a word and look on the Home tab - is the strikeout button orange
[pressed] (in the Fonts chunk of the ribbon) ? If so, Select All (Ctrl+A)
then click the button. You can also press Ctrl+D to open the fonts dialog
and clear the strikethrough box.
