How do I get rid of plain text italics permanently?

I would like all plain text replies to be in a regular font, not italicized
font. What settings do I change to have all plain text replies in a set font?

Tools, options, mail format, signatures and fonts - change the font for
plain text there. If you need more specifics, we need to know the version of
Outlook.
