How do I get rid of the Paragraph sign on each line of my text

I notice that on my outgoing messages on outlook, there is a "paragraph"
symbol on each line. I don't want to view that as I am creating a message.

Control+Shift+* toggles this option. Plus, if you allow word wrapping, the
symbol does not appear at the end of each line.
