How do I get rid of default text shows with each new email?

Text from a recent word document pop-up in the text area of each new email.
How do I remove this so I don't have to delete each new email?

Locate normal.dot and rename it to .old or open normal.dot for editing and
remove the text from it.
Further details depend on your version of Word.
