If you have created a new user which is also an Administrator and you are
logging in with that user name, this could impair your ability to
see/access your previous email/address book. This could happen because your
address book was part of the old user profile. The new user account uses a
seperate profile and keeps it's data files seperate.

Unless there is something wrong with the old/original user account you
should still be able to log off and then log into Windows XP using the
old/original user, and then accessing the data/email/addresses in that
profile. Have you tried logging in with the old user account?

To go much further in troubleshooting this we'll need more information.

Q1: Which email program do you use? <MSN, Outlook or Outlook Express>?

Q2: which account do you log in with and are you able to log in with the
old account(s)?

Q3: Do you see an error message when attempting to use your Address Book?

Let me know what you see.
