I use My Pictures Slideshow as a screen saver; but can't seem to find how to
get them to display 'in order'. Using old family pics, I have them named with
date first, such as '1913-Mom&Dad', '1999-Susie' etc. They sort correctly in
the folder, and if I use the slideshow function when viewing them, but in the
Display/Screen Saver/Slideshow function, they show randomly.
I've checked under Display functions within the Control Panel & I can't find
anything to help.
I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions! Thanks so much.

I could be wrong but I don't think you can change it. I have my pictures as
the screen saver as well and they come up in random order, which I quite
like, you never know what will show next <g>

Usually you have the screensaver set because you're not using the machine so
probably wont see what shows anyway so I wouldn't think it mattered what
order they came in <g>

One of the experts will probably come and tell you it can be done now, this
was just my thoughts on the subject <g>

The answer is no. The XP screensaver displays pictures in a random
order.
If you need to display 'in order' in a screensaver, then you will have
to find a 3rd party screensaver for that purpose.
