How do I get just the distribution list name rather than members?

I want to just show the distribution list name when the email goes out to the
list rather than all the members of the list. Is this possible in Outlook
exchange???

In Outlook, you really can't. If Exchange is in the picture, you'd have to
have the DL created on the server side (along with any external contacts),
and then you could send to that and it wouldn't expand.

Otherwise, you're looking at doing a mail merge, or putting everyone on the
BCC line, or purchasing some third party product to give you the feature you
want.
