how do i get active x to install.

Microsoft advise me of an upgrade that I need and then says I need ActiveX.
Have checked that this is enabled but it does not show up on my toolbar. Any

Try registering the control:

Start ... Run then type:

regsvr32.exe "C:\The full path to the control.ocx"

Try registering the control:

Start ... Run then type:

regsvr32.exe "C:\The full path to the control.ocx"

type as "the full path to the control"

A path is something like:

"C:\Windows\system32\notepade.exe"

You need to use the path to your ActiveX control in its place. It's
important to put it in quotes in case there is a space in it (Program Files,
Documents and Settings, etc.).
