You will probably need to use Linux to delete the existing partition,
or some third party partitioning software such as Partition Magic or
Boot It Next Generation (
www.bootitng.com)
Then create a new partition FAT32 or NTFS partition using the third
party partitioning program or Disk Management in Windows XP; and then
format the partition to prepare it for use.
