For example, you might mention whether your email program
is the Windows Mail program this newsgroup was intended
to be used for discussing, and what if any error messages it
gives.

Also, you might mention what if any antivirus programs you
have on your machine, since some of the more common
antivirus programs are a very frequent source of problems with
the Windows Mail program. This includes most versions of
Norton and McAfee antivirus programs, even if you have
already uninstalled them but not run the cleanup programs
needed to finish removing them.
