I am using Outlook 2007 and Vista. This error message just started
yesterday. I cannot get to the internet via a link in an email, or from
typing an address in the search box.
I tried the solution on a previous post; IE to tools and reset web settings.
That did not work either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reassign Internet Explorer as the default browser in Control Panel-> Default
Programs
If it has already all the defaults, assign them to another browser that you
may have installed instead or disable all the options and then assign them
back to IE.
