My computer runs XP Professional. How do I find out what sound card and what
video card I have? (I would like to know make and model number.) I tried
Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information and cannot
find this information. Also, I would like to know and make and model number
of my CD/DVD read drive and my CD/DVD burner drive.

I also tried the properties window, Hardware tab, but it gives only a
limited amount of information:

DVDRW IDE 1008 DVD/CD-ROM drives
JLM XJ-HD 166S DVD/CD-ROM drives

If you are buying a used computer AIDA32 or Bel Arc Advisor
are faster and more accurate than opening the computer and
using a magnifying glass to read the details. Most commonly
available sales brochures do not list the details of mobo,
CPU or RAM type.
