I just want to scream. I got an e-mail from Microsoft, see below. I clicked
on the link and it opened a blank page. I went back to the forum on my own
and I've spent 20 mins searching for my question. I can't find the darn
thing. I need help and this is wearing me out.

A Microsoft Community member has responded to your question entitled
"Outlook 2007 Trial" . Please read the response and indicate whether it
answered your question or not. By rating a post as an answer, you help others
find the answer more quickly, you give the person who posted the answer
credit for their contribution, and you help increase the quality of answers
in the discussion group. Read and rate the response

If the response did not answer your question, click this link to continue
receiving notifications for this thread.

Thank you for taking part in the Microsoft Communities!

NOTE: Do not reply to this message. This e-mail message has been sent from
an unmonitored e-mail address. We are unable to respond to any replies sent

Do yourself a BIG favour and ditch the horrible web interface. Use a news
reader instead.

Setting up Outlook Express/Windows Mail to access Microsoft newsgroups

Accessing the MS newsgroups in Outlook Express/Windows Mail Newsreader

Its in the Office.misc group

Life would be simpler for you if you set up and used the win default
newsreader - Outlook Express or Windows Mail, depending on o/s

Disregard, I found it by searching in Office General Questions, my mistake.
Still the link sent by Microsoft did not work.

Thank you to both of you, Gordon and DL. I am out of my league here I guess.
I have no idea what either of you are referring to when you say use a
newsreader. The OS is Windows Vista Ultimate, and I am using Outlook 2007
Trial version. Would you kindly give me more details? Thank you so much.

Thank you both, Gordon and DL. I did locate the original question, my mistake
on location. Now you've both referred to something called a newsreader. I am
out of my league on this, I have no idea what you're both referring to. Can
you please provide more info?

For future reference, follow these steps. It will be a WORLD better than
using the web interface:
