can any 1 help me?? i reinstalled windows xp by mistake now in drive c i have
windows and windows1 files every thing is on old profiles including system
restore how do i get it all back???

How does one "... reinstall windows xp by mistake ..."?

If it was a destructive install - you probably won't be getting anything at
all back.

If it was a repair/parallel install - you can probably find your files in
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Old Username> and you can copy what you need
out of there. You might have to "Take Ownership" of the files/folders in
order to do so.

So let us know exactly what you did so we can further direct you.
