How do I find/load a missing file from the Recovery Console?

      18th May 2004
When I boot up windows XP I get a message that I must
install <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.

I don't know how to find it on the Recovery Console. Can
someone tell me where to find it and how to install it?
