I have inadvertently deleted a folder full of important e-mails - I did
confirm I wanted to delete it, thinking I was deleting just one e-mail - not
the whole folder! Is it sitting somewhere that I can restore it from? I have
checked the Recycle Bin and the Delete folder in Outlook, but not there.

if it's not in outlook recycle bin and you are not on Exchange server, it's
gone - your only hope is to retrieve it from a backup copy of your mailbox.

If you received a prompt, then you must have chosen to permanently delete
it. It's gone, unless this works:
