How do I find the errors causing Excel to Auto Recover my file?

When my Excel Workbooks reach 1MB and larger I start having problems with my
workbooks failing and going into the"Auto Recovery" utility. Where do I find
help fixing the problems that caused Excel to recover my workbook? I can
usually clean up the workbook with VBA Code Cleaner but I have the problem
all over again when I make changes to the workbook. There are too many
unrelated items in the knowlege base to find anything that addresses my
issue. I am lost!
