I have tried to extend a distribution list beyone 50 addresses, but can't
find the instructions. Does anyone know how to do this?

The 50 address limitation is probably be caused by your ISP/Mail service.
You need to contact them, since many do set a limit of less than 50 per
message. You may want to do a e-mail merge from your Outlook Contact folder.

I would suggest that even 50 members is an unwieldy and not easily managed
number.
I suggest you look at using Categories instead.
