how do i edit the company label in the contact

The user defined labels dont come up for editing?

You sound like an old ACT or Goldmine user... No, the default fields in BCM
can't be changed. You can change the dropdowns (picklists) to be whatever
you want. So, instead of using Source for where you learned about the
contact, you could use it for Size of Left Foot -- you just have to remember
which field is which.

You can add up to 40 fields each for contact, account, opportunity, and
project. And No, you can't move the standard fields around, nor can you
resize, color, or modify the custom fields either.
