I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. You can't change an email
address on a page? Did you edit the hyperlink, save the page and then
publish? What steps are you using?

Have you cleared your browser cache?
Does your host cache web pages for a particular period of time before
changes are allowed to take effect?

How about telling us what the new email address is supposed to be, and
provide the URL to the page so we can check it.

Hi Linda,

One thing I can think of is that you somehow have two home pages. The one
that you are updating locally is not the same one as being written to on the
host server.

Have you tried opening the site live and making the email address change
there?

Just an FYI..posting real email addresses on a newsgroup..as well as
viewable directly on a web site will open the door for lots of spam. It is
best to obfuscate them in some manner.

Take a look at Jimco's addin here called "Spam Spoiler"

Well, it's beginning to seem that the host caches web pages for a period of
time before allowing changes to take effect. The OP should ask them.

It's because you are using a frameset.

The page you need to edit is: http://www.trinityanglican.org/index2.htm

Then publish.

But, Steve, as I understand it, she went into code view and and actually
changed it from the old to new?
