How do I drag info from one row to another

In excel you can drag the "+" down to carry info into another row. I
read somewhere that You can repeat the same data in a row as the row
above but typing something - like "Control +" but I dont remember what
it was.

Anyone have any ideas ?

Ctrl-'

(the quote key) should do it for you.
