How do I download a whole site onto someone else's PC?

Hi everyone,

I have had some really useful help previously, so hoping I will again now.

I currently have my sister's website on my PC (in FrontPage), but she now
wants to be able to edit it all and publish from her own her (her PC
obviously).

Is she able to download the files herself in anyway, and if so, how?

Thank you for your advice.

Heather

Open the live site on her PC (File, Open Site, http://www.yourdomain.com)
and then publish it to a folder on her hard drive (File, Publish Site,
C:\foldername)

As long as your sister has FrontPage and the live/remote server has the FP extensions, then she
would open the site directly in FP (File Menu | Open Site) and then use File Menu | Publish Site to
get a complete copy of the site onto her PC.

Heather,
No problem if your sister has FP on her computer, give her your login
details and suggest she publish from the server to her computer.
If she does not have FP suggest you take a look here
http://www.contentseed.com
This addition will allow her to edit pages from her computer and it is easy
to use.

Thank you all for your replies.

We have got FP extensions on the site, so all should be fine. I will tell my
sister.

Sounds easy, hope it is!!

Thanks again.
