I went to Microsoft Update website to download updates and several failed.
I've tried to download them again, but they don't show up on my list. They
do show up on history as failed though.

I have automatic updates turned on too.

Help

Which updates? Are you judging "failed updates" only via the Update History
menu at Windows Update website?

Which updates? Have you checked in the microsoft.public.windowsupdates
newsgroup for help?

Using the correct newsgroup to ask the question might be a good start -
though you have had a reply from those who know - off topic questions can
get ignored. The 1st would appear to be your best choice - subscribe - you
never know when you might need help with the Black Tuesday Updates in the
future.
