Blank body = blank post = Nothing to troubleshoot or discuss

Did you follow ALL the instructions on Gmail's web help page on setting
up POP access? When looking at the configuration options of your Gmail
account using their webmail agent, you don't even have to search their
help pages. There is a help page link right in the screen showing the
account setup options.

My bet is you setup Outlook but did not setup your Gmail account to
allow POP connects.
