How can I upgrade my Win 98 PC with XP Pro with a full
version CD? I already have the full version CD and don't
want to have to buy the upgrade version of XP. I really
don't want to wipe the drive and loose all my software
already installed either.

If you have a "Retail Full Version" of Windows XP, you may
upgrade over Windows 98. However, if you have an "OEM Version",
then you cannot upgrade over Windows 98. OEM versions can only
be installed on a freshly reformatted drive or partition.

Yep, it is an OEM version. I guess I'll be wiping the
drive.
