I've been trying to find out why our IE hasn't been working. Somehow it was
working again but when I tried to update my avatar on Yahoo it claimed I
didn't have a new enough version of IE. I've been trying to see what I can dl
to update it but I don't know how to tell what version we even have. Can
someone help me?

In IE, click on Help>About. That should tell you which version you have.

If you want to be sure of what all you do have on your system, go here and
get this free little utility and it will tell you just about everything you
might want to know about your machine and what's on it. Just download,
install and run it. It's a great little program.
