how do I do the +- sign in word?

I am trying to do the symbol + - together and can not find the symbol. Any
ideas?

A general (but slower) answer is insert -> symbol, or

open the character map in windows, find and copy it, the paste in

To be honest with you, that's how i insert most of the "oddball" characters.
I remember things like °, ¢, some of the fractions, etc but the rest I pop
up the Character map and I'm good. I don't think it's any slower for me than
Insert - Symbol - etc. It's probably faster because I've done it so often.
