Thank you for the reply. I did exactly what you said. I converted my six
minute piece of music to a wav file which Powerpoint recognizes. I went under
slide show>slide transition and under modify transition I modified the sound
fiels by selecting my new wav file.
However, when I play the presentation with sound, the opening slidecomes on
and the sound plays. Insted of the program moving on to the next slide, the
opening slide remains on screen and the sound continues to play until the
whole six minutes of music is over. That opening slide is set to be open for
3 seconds and then it's supposed to fade into slide number 2. I have no
trouble getting the music to play. The problem I'm having is making the
slides change while the music plays.
