One way is to use a 2x2 table. To get a ready-made one that won't cause
margin issues, go to Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels and
choose the Labels tab. Click Options and select, from the "Avery standard"
list, either 3263 - Post Card (landscape) or 5845 Note card (portrait).
Click OK, then New Document to get a sheet of the "cards." They'll be set up
as a table, so make sure you have table gridlines displayed (Table | Show
Gridlines) so you can see the cell boundaries.
