I'm using Excel in office 2003 and I'm having difficulty with a chart. I am
trying to create a chart that displays a stacked column chart. I need the
x-axis set to 0, but I need positive values on both sides of the x-axis
showing the values of the data in opposite directions. I have mangaed to
present the data by changing one of the values to negatives. However, I
don't want the numbers to be displayed as negatives. It is very misleading.
I know its hard to explain in text without seeing a sketch. Is there a chart
or method to create a column chart that will display positve values on either
side of the x-axis. I can send you the chart I created using negative values
if this will help. I don't see anywhere here to attach files, but if there
is another way please let me know.. Thanks.

Hi,

You need to change the number format to 0;0 in order for negative values
to be displayed without the minus sign.
See this example for a bar chart, the principle is the same.
