I would like to display my replies to e-mails in the same spot as incoming so
when I search, all e-mails both incoming and outgoing will be searched at the
same time.

Hi Crewchief,

you could move all email in one folder (incoming and sent emails) and then
you can "group" this emails by "subject".

For messages not in the Inbox,

Tools - Options - E-mail Options - Advanced E-mail Options - In folders
other than the Inbox, save replies with original message.

(which may or may not exist depending upon version of Outlook, which you
left out =) )
