How do I disable (or uninstall) Microsoft Genuine Advantage (More like
Microsoft Genuine Disadvantage)?
Do me a favor and don't ask me why - Silly me, I want to avoid the ever so
common, time wasting
arguments that usually ensue.
Thanks for any help.

Then why ask in a place where you know that is bound to occur?
I'd equate that to walking into a burning building to assist in avoiding
being burned. ;-)

This is as good of an answer that you should expect get given your chosen
audience...
(Perhaps better than you should expect...)

Search using Google!

(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Example Search:

Just search the registry for wga
and delete those keys.

You do not have to delete all the ones found...
probably the first 25 or so will be enough

The fireman goes in to assist OTHERS (the building, other people, other
things) in avoiding burning further...
They do not go in to keep themselves from being burned.

I deleted all the wga registry keys and wgalogin and wganotify keys as well
as delete the WgaTray.exe and WgaLogon.dll files in the ...windows/system32
folder.
As a test (or should I say an attempted test), I disabled my internet
connection and rebooted. In the past, whenever I either rebooted or turned
on the computer and the internet connection was disabled,
Windows Genuine Aggravation
would kick in telling me I had to reactivate windows due to hardware
changes.
What hardware changes?

Anyway, THANK GOD (OR WHOEVER) Windows Genuine Aggravation didn't harass
me!!!
Time will tell but I pray that's the last time I ever see Windows Genuine
Aggravation!!!

It's amazing that f#8;<!*%ing Microsoft can get away with harassing me for
many years
with all manner of #8;<!*% after I've paid them a whole f#8;<!*%ing load of
money.
Were I, you or any ordinary person to do that, we would be behind bars for
many years.
Welcome to the land of the free!!!

WOW, I just realized I've been typing Windows Genuine Aggravation instead of
Windows Genuine Advantage, but of course my freudian typo is the real
truth!!!

Yes..it's a real PITA at times...
that's one reason I'm pretty well forced NOT to go with Vista.
As an experimenter I'm *always* changing my hardware...
and if I had to keep re-activating it would drive me nuts...
