I want to take away the abiltity for users to edit an intranet page.
Most of these clients have Office 2003 installed on their PC. So when they
navigate to the intranet page the edit tool bar icon is enabled with the
"Edit with Microsoft Office Word" option.

Is it possible to completely disable this toolbar icon?
I have checked the registry and cant seem to find where this option is stored.

Nevermind..Figured it out...
I have to also Disable the View Source option in the GPO and this will
disable the edit icon as well
