How do i disable DMA setting

Hi guys,

Ive just bought a new Sony 510A dvd burner and ive
dowloaded the latest firmware for it. When i go to start
updating the firmware i get a cant write to buffer error
message. I checked the Sony help page and it says that i
have to disable DMA setting.

How do i do this??

any help would be great thanks
