How do I disable the 'balloon help' in the preview pane

When viewing received messages using the preview pane I get a 'ballon help'
field pop up when ever the cursor is over the pane when some messages are
displayed. It displays a URL and can be very long. It's of no use to me
and I'd prefer to swith it off.

How can I do this?
