How do I detect USB or USB2?

I have a Toshiba Satallite labtop runn XP Home.

Is there a setting that tells me if it supports USB2?

Also, is there a way to determine if the laptop has a Internal wireless
card?

Also, is there a way to determine if the computer supports firewire?

The laptop is suppose to have all these, but I just want some way I can
determine that they exist.

Is there anyplace in the control panel I can check?

Thanks,

-Mike

you should be able to go into the Device manager for your usb root hubs, and
go to properties. The driver running for the USB ports should be
descriptive enough to tell you it's USB2.

Go to your network devices under hardware manager, if the driver was
installed it should be there as a wireless network adapater. If not then it
should be at least in the Unknown devices with an exclamation point next to
it.

You should see a firewire device under your device manager too.

See Device Manager, System Devices -
It should say something like USB Enhanced.

See Device Manager again under Network Adapters

Device Manager again under System DEvices/Network Adapters etc
(assuming its enabled in bIOS)

Right click My Computer, select Manage then click on Device Manager
or open System control panel (Printers and Other hardware in category
view).
