You mean the Deleted Items from the web based mail account?
If you are using POP3, these won't be downloaded because the POP3 protocol
only supports downloading the main Inbox.

Otherwise, you might want to clarify yourself a bit more and include some
details such as your version of Outlook, type of mail account and the method
you used to set up this forwarding.

I am using IMAP not POP3. Its the latest outlook version. I changed from
Thunderbird to Outlook. When I delete the message from Outlook it does not go
into the Trash folder. When I deleted a message in Thunderbird it went into
the deleted folder. My main account is with Sky ie. (E-Mail Removed). It was
straightforward setting up outlook I just can't find my deleted emails! P.S.
How can i transfer my address book from Thunderbird to Outlook?

Imap account has its own folder set, when you delete a msg (in Outlook) its
also deleted from the server
Usually an imap deleteing a msg, in outlook, shows with a line through,
untill you purge when it is then removed.
If you expand your imap folder set, within outlook, there should be a Trash
Folder

If it was a pop account a deleted msg goes to the deleted folder (unless
perminently deleted)

There is a trash folder - but its always empty. I check it straight after
deleting a message. I don't get any messages with lines through etc.?

I am having the same trouble. It is a new occurrence. It started
after I got a message that my folder size had reached a maximum. So I
got emptied the trash. Since then, nothing goes into it. It is
troubling since sometimes I inadvertently trash a message and need to
retrieve it. (Outlook 2007 - POP account).

Anyone?

Right-click the root of your folder tree and choose Properties. Click
Advanced and examine the "Format" field. If it contains the string "97-2002",
then you need to update your PST to the current Unicode format so that you
won't run into size issues. If you are using the older format, see this:
