How do I delete the Oulook Outbox?

I have had 1 email stuck in the Outbox for 24hrs. It has sent over 550 copies
to the recipient. I deleted the email, thanks to other advice, however, would
like to know how I can delete the Outbox. The Service Provider Technical
Support technician said that the problem is a known "glitch" and the way to
rectify the problem is to delete the Outbox and restart Outlook. It will
automatically create another Outbox. I have not been able to find out any
information on how to do this.

Can anyone assist?

The "Service Provider Technical " is referring to outlook express not
outlook. If you choose the option work offline in the file menu you might be
able to delete the items stuck in the outbox. If not your will need to
create a new outlook profile and pst and then import the data back into the
new profile and not import the out box

Or you can try File, Work Offline, delete.
