How do I delete multiple emails from a business contact account

Every email I receive ends up in my personal "business contact", even if I
delete it from my inbox and then again from the deleted items, it still goes
into my account business contact . Consequently, I have hundreds of unwanted
email when I click on my account in business contacts. I've tried control
and the down arrow, then right click, but only one message is deleted at a
time. I'm hesitant to use the delete on the tool bar at the top of the page,
I deleted a whole contact once and couldn't find them.
