Do you mean an .oft file? Delete it in Windows Explorer as you would any other file.

I don't delete files through Windows Explorer. Could you please give me more
"how to" details?

When you created the template, you must have saved it to a folder on your
hard drive. Use Windows Explorer to browse to that folder, select the
template, then delete it.

1. Open Microsoft Explorer C: drive
2. On the left side of the window, there is a section called System Tasks.
Select search for files or folders. OR You may just select Search (look for
magnifying glass)
3. Select Documents (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
4. Type "*.oft" in the All or part of the file name field (no quotation marks)
5. Select Search button
6. You will begin to see a list of templates you created. Click once on the
template to highlight it and click delete on your keyboard. That's it!

But how does one delete the actual icons that appear near the top of the
Outlook window for each email template? Thank you!

What view are you looking at? Do you really mean templates or are you
talking about the folder icon and folder name? (You can't remove the folder
names or icons.)

Hi
Clear the cache using the Manage Forms dialog (Tools | Options | Other |
Advanced Options | Custom Forms, then click Manage Forms).
