how do I delete an email when I highlight it, it crashes Outlook?

      19th Sep 2007
I have an e-mail in my deleted folder that will not delete. when I try to
empty the folder it crashes outlook. when I click on it to delete it, it
immediately crashes outlook.
when I have my virus scan scan my mail box folders it crashes my virus scan.

Have you tried starting Outlook in safe mode to see if you can delete it?

How to:
Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe > OK button
